If you live in an area with particularly hard water, you may be considering installing water softeners in Chalfont St Peter. While that can help prevent the build up of limescale in the future, what can you do to remove the residue that’s already there?

We all know that limescale can be a challenge to get rid of, and one area where it’s particularly noticeable is on shower screens and doors.

However, there is a product that’s being touted as something of a miracle worker when it comes to removing this limescale residue – water soluble Eucalyptus Solution.

A woman in the Facebook group Mums Who Clean shared the results she got from using it and they’re impressive, the Mirror revealed.

What’s even better is the speed with which it had an effect on the limescale. “No kidding, this took five minutes with a microfibre cloth. The scum basically wiped off straight away,” she wrote.

However, the newspaper did warn people not to try mixing eucalyptus oil with water and expecting the same effect – this won’t work. Eucalyptus Solution is widely available in Australia, but a little harder to come by in the UK. You’ll probably need to order some online, but if it’s as good as it sounds it could be worth the effort.

If you’ve had enough of cleaning limescale off your surfaces and appliances, water softeners can make a big difference. Just get in touch with us to find out what model will be most appropriate for your home and water usage.
